Who Am I?
I'm a first time Author by the name Nelle W. I was born and raised In Memphis, TN. I am 25 years old. I love writing, movies, and music. Originally, I first started writing in middle school. It began with a song because I was going through a singing phase, but it turned into poetry because of my bottled emotions and lack of understanding from others.
The poetry in the beginning consisted of song lyrics and my own words until it progressed into just my feelings and thoughts on the paper. After that, in high school I eventually joined the poetry club. It was only in my freshman year but it gave me the ridiculous idea to become a journalist, not only because I could write but because I was obsessed with people life's stories.
Fast forward to college and I am a Journalism major. It was a fun experience but then I realized it didn't create the free atmosphere I wanted to tell a story so I switched majors to Public Relations. I wasn't too fond of that major either, although it was fun to create marketing and pr strategies and projects. I graduated with a bachelors in Public Relations.
Now, It's 2024 I work in the University of Memphis library after an epiphany of internships of realizing I liked working for myself in the media aspect and creativity. I wrote my first book with multiple edits even after the release of it in 2025.

Facts about me:

I worked all over the university's campus and various jobs, despite my main job being an assistant librarian. I started out as student work, and then progressed to full-time, which sparked my idea to become an author.

My Favorite Color is Blue and Black.

I don't believe in role models. Humans are too complex , creative, and smart to admire someone else for something they can do as well.
